My conversation with Max this morning:

Me: I love your guts

Max: Me love daddy, not Sawyer

Me: Maxwell, thats not nice. Sawyer is your sister, your baby sister. You love her and protect her

Max: Me have more baby sisters...

Me: O really, were?!?!

Max: Me have to buy them, at the store.

The mind of a 3 year old never ceases to amaze me....

It's that time again

The 2012 Tball season has officailly begun...Sebastian is on the Reds this year and is playing with the same group of kids and coaches as last year. It's amazing to see the differance in him from this to last year. You can tell he does a lot of things more naturally with out having to think about it. He had his first game last week and got a hit on his 3rd pitch ( it was a good one too)! I hope he continues to love the game as much as his dad and I do!

Sawyer at 9 months

This year is flying by with our little princess, I can't believe she is 9 months already!!! She has grown up so much this month. Here is her stats and what she has been up to lately.

• First and most importantly after almost 8 months we have finally ditched the swaddle...Yahoo
• She started crawling on all fours on April 12 after almost a month of army crawling.
• The very next day April 13, she started pulling herself up and cruising.
• Also on April 13 she cut her first tooth (bottom left).
• She learned clap and play patty cake.
• She is 17lbs 10oz and 27 inches long.
• Wears a size 2 diaper.
• Is sleeping through the night about 50% of the time (mommy really appreciates this).

Sawyer Grace, you are the perfect little addition to our family! We love you so much baby girl!

 
 

 

 

Max is 3!!!

Wow!! I can't believe my little man is 3 already! Max is a very energetic, passionate, bullheaded, lovable boy. He knows what he wants and there is no changing his mind, period! He has been potty trained since September with the exception of nights. He loves all things dinosaurs, power rangers, and batman. Don't let his small stature fool you, this boy eats us out of house and home! Sebastian is his absolute favorite person in the world and gets upset every morning when he has to leave for school. He has a love hate relationship with Sawyer...he can be very loving towards her and then the next moment push her over. He is always keeping us on our toes but I wouldn't have it any other way! He brings excitement and joy to our family every day. We love you Monkey, Happy Birthday!!!

Big Brothers are the best!!!

Sebastian and Maxwell are AWESOME big brothers, they are so sweet and gentle with their baby sister...Having a little girl in the house has changed things up a little bit....I must say it is nice to see a calmer and gentler side of Max, cause that child is ALL boy....I loose track of how many times in a day I say "don't through that", "don't jump off that", "don't hit".....but when he is around his sister he completely changes and is so soft and gentle!! Over all I would say both boys are adjusting well!!

Going Home

We were released from the hospital on Friday, July 15. Before being allowed to leave Sawyer had to pass a car seat test (she had dropped below 5lbs and the hospital requires the test for all babies under 5 lbs)...She passed the test with flying colors. She looks so tiny in her car seat!! We got home pretty late, around 6 o'clock....Uncle Michael and Uncle Darnell surprised us with a visit (they live in Pittsburgh) and we had a relaxing night just visiting and hanging out!!

Welcome Sawyer

On Wednesday July 13 at 4:30 p.m. Sawyer Grace-Louise entered this world. She weighed in at a tiny 5lbs 5 oz and was 18 inches long. After some initial difficulty breathing she stabilized and was able to go to the regular nursery. I will never forget the moment they placed my baby girl on my chest, she just snuzzled right up under my chin and it was heaven!!! The boys are adjusting well, Sebastian is a great helper and loves to hold and rock his sister. Max's new favorite phrase is "baby crying again". He's always the first one there to put a binky in her mouth, were working on being soft....but two year olds just don't know their own strength!! We are so happy that Sawyer is finally here and healthy!!! We love you baby girl!!!
